Pastor Clint Rogas joined Abiding Faith Lutheran church in March of 2017. He moved to Tomball with his wife Susan.
Clint was born in Austin, TX and grew up there. After graduating from high school in 1978, Clint attended Concordia Lutheran College in Austin. At Concordia, he took pre-engineering courses and played baseball for Concordia.
Clint met Susan Engelbrecht in the fall of 1979 and they were married on August 8, 1981. God has blessed Clint and Susan’s marriage with two daughters; Kari Warnstedt (husband Karl) and April Filipenko (husband Matt).
Clint has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a registered electrical engineer. He worked in the electrical utility field for 17 years. He then had his own communication business for a time.
In the fall of 2001 the Rogas family moved to New Ulm, MN where Clint began his studies for pastoral ministry in the seminary certification program. He completed the necessary courses for entrance to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (WLS) in the spring of 2003. Clint spent his vicar year at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Brookings, SD. He graduated from WLS in May 2007 with a Master of Divinity.
Clint served as pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in South Haven from July 2007 to March 2013. He then served as pastor at Grace Lutheran Church from March 2013 to February 2017.
